Of the 497 incidents – Gardai says there was one sexual crime reported to them and they are are continuing to support the victim.
Meanwhile there was a large number of festival goers who needed medical treatment following adverse effects of alcohol and drugs.
Two people had to be transfered to Portalosie Hospital after being resuscitated and were deemed critical. Both have since been stabilised.
A man with two outstanding bench warrants was arrested in possession of an offence weapon – he is being currently still in custody and is waiting a court appearance.
Four arrests were made for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs – including one disqualified motorist who is facing a court appearance after testing positive for Cocaine and Opiates.
The car was also seized as it hadn’t been taxed since June 2015 and the NCT expired in February of the same year.
