The driver of the car has been disqualified for 20 years.
An already disqualified motorist who tested positive for five different drugs has been arrested in the midlands.
The driver, who was stopped by the Laois Roads Policing Unit in Mountrath, gave gardaí false details before being discovered to have been disqualified for 20 years.
They then tested positive for having a range of drugs in their system and was found to be in possession of drugs as well.
The car was seized, the driver was arrested and charged to appear before Portlaoise District Court.
