Campaign Launched To Reduce Number Of Fatalities On Irish Farms

A midlands councilor says action is needed to reduce the death toll from 20 a year.

The government is calling for a permanent change in behaviour on farms to reduce the number of deaths.

Farm safety is the focus of the "be winter-ready" campaign for this year with a 50-page guide available online.

It includes information on heating your home, being prepared in case of a flood, and dealing with dangerous driving conditions.
