Delays in moving people into a newly built housing estate in Laois will cause financial pressure.
That's the view of Independent Councillor Caroline Dwane Stanley on the newly built Sandwood estate in Portlaoise.
Several of the homes in the development have been sold for 490,000 euro, with families being told they cannot move in until December at the earliest.
Ongoing capacity issues at the local ESB substation are causing electricity issues on the site.
