Councillor Seeking Clarity On GP Situation In Offaly Town

Cllr. Noel Cribbin says it's causing people to travel long distances on bad roads.

Elderly people in parts of Offaly are having to travel to Tullamore for basic appointments because they don't have access to their GP.

Fine Gael's Edenderry rep Noel Cribbin also says two of the four local doctors are off sick since before Christmas and an adequate replacement service hasn't been put in place.

He's asked for both doctors to be written to, along with the HSE, to seek clarification on the situation going forward.
