The deadline for applications has been extended.

The Central Statistics Office is renewing calls for applications for census enumerators in the midlands.

249 roles are being filled to help carry out Census 2022 - with 92 in Westmeath, 82 in Laois and 75 in Offaly.

The deadlines for applications has been extended to 3pm this Friday, December 10th.

Head of Census Administration, Eileen Murphy says they want to recruit the largest pool of candidates possible:
