Day Two Of Electric Picnic Is Underway

Action on the main stage today includes Becky Hill, Anne Marie, Picture This and Tame Impala.

Day two of Electric Picnic is underway, and the much anticipated rain has arrived.

'Picture This' and 'Tame Impala' are the headliners today.

Just as Dermot Kennedy was finishing his set on the main stage last night, the rain started, and it hasn’t stopped.

Met Eireann warned of wet and windy weather from Friday until Monday, while there’s a status yellow weather warning for the entire country from 1am on Sunday until 10am.

Elsewhere the HSE issued a warning in the early hours of this morning about a dangerous batch of drugs.

That was the aim of the drug surrender pilot scheme.

As a result of testing, a warning has been issued about High Strength MDMA where the contents are approximately two times the average adult dose.

Action on the main stage today includes Becky Hill, Anne Marie, Picture This and Tame Impala.

Midlands 103's Lorraine McCormack will be broadcasting Sunday Shine from backstage tomorrow from 12 noon and she'll be chatting to some of the acts who are performing this weekend.
