A documentary focusing on the peat industry in Offaly through the lens of the daily lunchtime break is set to appear at an Irish film festival.
'Closed for Lunch' made by Mixed Bag Media is set to screen at the Disappear Here Film Festival, taking place in Donegal this month.
The film premiered in Tullamore's Esker Arts Centre in March, and features interviews from those in the industry with archived footage of the factories through the ages.
It was also gathered, directed and produced by young film makers through FilmOffaly’s Documentary Mentorship Scheme.
