A number of areas in the county are set to be affected.
A number of areas in Westmeath may be without water today, due to works being carried out.
Uisce Éireann says the 'essential' works are scheduled to take place from 10am this morning until 3pm this afternoon.
Households and businesses in Dalystown North, Dalystown South, Moorerow, Tyrellspass, Rochfortbridge and the surrounding areas may seen a disruption to their water supply as a result.
Residents are being advised it may take up to three hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to be fully restored.
Meanwhile, Uisce Éireann is investigating reports of a disruption to supply in Abbeyleix and the surrounding areas.
