This year’s festival will burst into life at Moore Hall this Saturday with ‘The Devil’s in the Dance Hall’, a celebration of 1930s dancehall culture.
The Gralton Big Band is set to deliver its unmistakable sound, while award-winning dancer and choreographer Edwina Guckian will be guiding attendees through a nostalgic reenactment alongside a cast of actors, singers and musicians.
Coláiste Chiaráin in Athlone, will host a series of music workshops to mark the opening of the festival, which celebrates the wealth of history, heritage and culture that makes the area unique.
