Two centres will open in the midlands tomorrow morning.
The HSE has offered a first glimpse of the mass Covid-19 vaccination centre in Athlone.
It's based at Athlone Institute of Technology and, along with another centre in the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise, will open to the public at 9am tomorrow.
Similar facilities at the Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar and the Tullamore Court Hotel will open in the coming weeks.
At first, just those aged between 65 and 69 are invited to get their vaccine here, by registering through the HSE's online portal or calling the helpline on 1850 24 1850.
People will be directed to attend the facilities based on their postcodes. Those with an eircode beginning 'N37' will be invited to get their vaccine at AIT.
750 will be vaccinated in the Athlone centre over the next three days.
The facility has capacity for up to 4,500 a day when it opens on a 12 hour basis, seven days a week. Currently, it will operate between 9am and 5pm, five days a week.
Those attending are reminded to bring photo ID, their PPS number and their mobile phone to show the proof of registration text message that will be sent by the HSE.
