The vehicle spun out of control on a Laois road yesterday.
Gardaí say it's fortunate nobody was injured after a crash in the midlands yesterday.
A car lost control on a bend and spun out of control on the N80 near Stradbally, which was attended by the Laois Roads Policing Unit.
They say the tyres of the vehicle were in very poor condition, which likely contributed to the incident.
The car's tax and NCT were also expired.
Gardaí seized the vehicle, and court proceedings have commenced against the driver.
