His family is hoping to get enrolled in a clinical trial to receive a vaccine.
A major fundraiser is underway to help a nine year-old Roscommon boy.
Roscommon's Joseph Belton was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma two years ago and if his scans remain clear he will be on the way to remission, however with Neuroblastoma re-occurrence is likely.
His family is hoping to get enrolled in a clinical trial to receive a vaccine, in New York, which should reduce the possibility of it returning.
The treatment will cost €250,000.
Joseph's parents Aoife and Michael have set up a Go Fund Me to help cover the costs.
