The incident took place late on Saturday night.
Gardaí are investigating after 30,000 euro worth of boat equipment was stolen in Westmeath.
The incident happen on Sunday night at the Lakeside Marina near Ballykeeran where 19 engines and other equipment was taken.
Gardaí believe the transport used was a truck or heavy vehicle because of the quantity and weight of the items.
Anyone in the area between 10pm on Sunday night and 2am Monday morning with dashcam footage is asked to contact Athlone Garda station.
