New research from Virgin Media Ireland, found that Laois is the third highest nationally with 1,240 competitive gaming searches per 100,000 people.
Laois also ranks as the country’s top county for Esports streaming, with 33% of adults watching Esports regularly.
In ninth place is Offaly, with 757 searches per 100,000 people, while Westmeath is all the way down in 21st with 364.
