Laois Farm And Brewery Included In Visit For German Travel Agents

Ballykilcavan Farm and Brewery in Stradbally is included in the Failite Ireland trip.

A Laois farm and brewery is being included in a Failte Ireland visit for German travel agents.

Eight luxury travel agents from are exploring Ireland this week, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.

The aim of the visit is to familiarise the German travel agents with Ireland and our superb luxury tourism offering, so that when they return home, they will be better informed and more enthusiastic than ever about Ireland when advising their clients about planning and booking their next luxury holiday.

The travel agents’ busy itinerary included Ballykilcavan Farm and Brewery in Stradbally.

Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), said: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite this group of specialist luxury travel agents from Germany to Ireland, to experience at first-hand some of our luxury tourism offering, including our unique visitor experiences, boutique hotels and high-end resorts. Seeing is believing and our aim is that when they return home, they will be even more enthusiastic about the destination, helping to secure a greater share of their business for Ireland in 2027 and beyond.”
