A new report by Inland Fisheries Ireland details fish kill statistics ranging from 1969 up to 2022.
Meanwhile, Westmeath saw one of the lowest proportions of kills over the 53 year period.
Figures show more than 60 fish suffered in Laois, over 3% of the population, in Offaly 27 were killed and in Westmeath the number comes to just 13.
The highest amount of killings happened in Cork and Cavan, while Roscommon joins Westmeath as one of the lowest.
