A Laois singer has raised more than €2,000 for his parish to go on a pilgrimage to Lourdes through releasing his own version of a Christmas classic.
Stradbally's Ross Molloy decided to record "When a Child Is Born" in aid of the Stradbally Parish Lourdes trip to take place next summer.
The cost of one ticket with flights, transfers, accommodation and meals included totals to €825- with enough raised so far for a few members to go on the trip.
