Over 100 homes are coming to Mullingar.
Plans have been approved for a major new housing development in Westmeath.
The 104 home project will be on the Ardmore Road in Mullingar on a 3.3 hectare site.
The plans include a broad range of terraced, semi detached, and full detached houses as well as a two story apartment block.
The development will also bring a new creche to the area and a 199 space car park.
Westmeath County Council is granting planning permission subject to 24 conditions.
