A man has been arrested following a drug and cash seizure in Westmeath.
Over €23,000 in cash and approximately €8,000 in Cannabis was seized by the Garda Divisional Drugs Unit during a search of an apartment in Athlone town yesterday.
The man was arrested at the scene and is due to appear before the courts at a later date.
The investigation was carried out as part of Operation Tara.
