Land bought over ten years ago will be used for a new manufacturing plant in Westmeath.
It's hoped construction on a new advanced manufacturing plant in the midlands will begin next year.
The land for the facility at the Marlinstown IDA Park in Mullingar was bought over a decade ago, but development on the site is yet to get underway.
A contractor for the plant was due to be appointed by the end of September, but that was subsequently pushed back to the final quarter of this year.
Spokesperson on Economic Development, Enterprise and Tourism with Mullingar Chamber, John Geoghegan, says they want to see the project delivered:
