The Offaly TD is welcoming a considered expansion of age eligibility for the BreastCheck programme.
An Offaly TD wants to see more done to help cancer support centres after hearing news that breast check screening is set to be expanded.
Independent rep Carol Nolan is welcoming news that National Screening Advisory Committee is considering opening the age eligibility to those aged 45 to 49 years and those aged 70 to 74 years.
It is currently the case that only women aged 50 to 69 years are invited for screening.
