A midlands man, who lost his left arm in a motorbike incident, says he's not disabled enough to avail of tax relief for drivers with disabilities.
Moate's David Digan says he has a car but he needs it to modified but he's doesn't qualify for a Primary Medical Cert, which allows disabled drivers to avail of vehicle registration tax and VAT relief.
Under the criteria, he's not eligible unless he's lost both hands or both arms.
Mr. Digan has been speaking with Will Faulkner on Midlands Today and says getting approved would help his independence:
