Midlands Man Says He's "Not Disabled Enough" For Driver Tax Relief

He lost his arm in a motorbike incident.

A midlands man, who lost his left arm in a motorbike incident, says he's not disabled enough to avail of tax relief for drivers with disabilities.

Moate's David Digan says he has a car but he needs it to modified but he's doesn't qualify for a Primary Medical Cert, which allows disabled drivers to avail of vehicle registration tax and VAT relief. 

Under the criteria, he's not eligible unless he's lost both hands or both arms.
