Midlands Mother Worries Autistic Child Will "Go Backwards" Without A School Place

There are currently no space available in any of the primary schools in her area.

A midlands woman whose daughter has autism fears she'll go 'backwards' if she can't get a school place this September.

Portlaoise's Louise Kelly says there isn't a place in any of the primary schools in the area for her daughter, Eiramay.

She is non-verbal and is considered a 'flight risk'  - her mum says she needs one-on-one supports in an ASD class.
