It's one of 30 cases on Revenues Tax Defaulters list for the first quarter of the year.
Revenue has accepted a tax settlement offer of over 11.7m euro from an Offaly motor vehicle dealer.
James Joseph Daly, of 13 Grays Meadow, Cloghan, is listed as one of 30 cases on Revenue's Tax Defaulters list for the first quarter of the year.
Trading as 'Any Gear', Mr Daly's total relates to over 4.5million euro in unpaid tax, over 2.5m euro in interest and over 4.5m euro in penalties.
It arises from a Revenue investigation into non-declaration of income tax and VAT.
The settlement is instead of initiating court proceedings and as at March 31 this year it had not been paid.
Separately, a business based in North Dublin has made a tax settlement of just over €4m euro.
Oshima Ireland Limited, a precision metal component manufacturer, based at Woodford Business Park in Santry made the settlement.
