Midlands Musician Describes Government Guidelines "As Lockdown By Stealth"

He says the band has had 17 of their 23 Christmas bookings cancelled.

Restrictions on hospitality are nothing short of lockdown by stealth. 

That's according the Laois' Stewart Quinn of Transmitter, who is calling on the government to devise a plan for the sector and provide support for those losing seasonal business. 

He says the band has had 17 of their 23 Christmas bookings cancelled, as public is being guilt-tripped into curtailing their movements and socialisation. 

The lead vocalist says the Taoiseach and Public Expenditure Minister must give industry reps clarity when they meet this morning:
