The event will also see two new Regional Officers elected.
Midlands schools will be gathering in TUS Athlone for a conference today.
The Irish Second-Level Students' Union is hosting its Regional Council, which will see the election of its new Regional Officers for Westmeath and Longford.
They'll take over from the current Officers, Sam Brooks, who is a former member of Athlone Community College, and 5th Year student at Marist College, Gearóid McCarthy.
The union currently has 20 member schools in the area, and is hoping to have all of those in attendance today.
