A midlands woman is encouraging people not to view stage four cancer as if "your life is over".
Karen Hanley of Edenderry was diagnosed with cancer for the second time in May of last year.
She is promoting the '100k in 30 days' challange for the Marie Keating Foundation, where people are asked to walk, run or cycle just over 3km every day in June.
So far, the initiative has raised over €4M for breast cancer services in Ireland.
