Antoinette Enright, the mother of Offaly singer-songwriter Mundy was laid to rest this morning at St Brendan's Church in Birr.
Mundy sang "Red Is The Rose" as his mother's funeral drew to a close this morning, alongside Imelda May:
He also addressed the congration recalling a funny memory of his mother on a night out:
During the mass, a beret, cookbook, a portrait of her family and golf ball was brought up to the altar as symbols to mark her life.
Fr Tom Dolan officiated the mass and said Antoinette was remembered for being her household's "Neven Maguire" especially for her brown bread.
Her strong golf skills led to her being named the lady captain of her local golf club, and was remembered for her sense of style and of course her love of music:
Antoinette will be laid to rest in Birr's Clonoghill Cemetery.
