National Children's Hospital Design Team Paid Over €80m So Far

They're being questioned by the Public Accounts Committee.

The design team of the new National Children's Hospital has been paid over €80m euro so far.

The Public Accounts Committee has heard adjustments to designs have been part of the overrun on the budget for the building.

At the earliest, the hospital could be open by spring 2025, but a timeline of 2026 is also possible.

Phelim Devine, Project Director of the National Pediatric Hospital Development Board, was questioned on costs by Chair and Laois Offaly TD Brian Stanley:
