122 shows around the country are in line to benefit from funding.
The Government has announced an investment of €1 million for agricultural shows this year.
122 shows nationwide are set to benefit from the funding, and will receive a grant of between €6,000 and €11,000, depending on their size.
€12,000 has been allocated for shows in Laois, the Tullamore Show will receive €11,000, and €35,000 has been divided among four shows in Westmeath.
The additional funding brings the total allocated to agricultural shows since 2018 to over €4.3 million.
