The roles are being created as part of the Housing for All programme.
25 new local authority jobs are on the way to the midlands.
Housing delivery teams in Westmeath and Longford will add seven additional staff each, while six new members will be hired in Laois and five in Offaly.
The roles, created as part of the Housing for All programme, will include engineers, quantity surveyors and architects as well as administrative positions.
The aim of the project is to support county councils in designing, developing and managing housing projects in the region.
