New Manager Behind Reduction In Midlands Hospital's Trolleys, Says Health Minister

The hospital regularly records no patients waiting for beds.

The introduction of a new manager three years ago is one of the reasons behind a significant reduction in trolleys figures at a midlands hospital, according to the Health Minister

The Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore regularly has no patients waiting for beds at the 8am count, and is yet to record someone on a trolley this year.

This is in contrast to a number of years ago, when the hospital had significant figures on trolleys every day.
