Six cases of Omicron have now been identified in Ireland.

Passangers arriving here from Britain are being asked to take an antigen test for five consecutive days to tackle the spread of the Omicron variant.

The government says anyone who gets a positive result should immediately seek a PCR test and self-isolate.
