Number Of Adult Children Living At Home In The Midlands Rising

Laois has seen the biggest jump.

The amount of adult children living at home in the midlands is on the rise.

In the six years between 2016 and 2022, Laois households saw the biggest jump with 9,793 adults living with their parents, representing an increase of 27%.

The figure is 9,814 in Westmeath, and 9,503 in Offaly, both increases of 18% respectively.
