A major supermarket chain have announced an investment of €33.6m euro into their stores.
ALDI have included their outlets in Tullamore and Moate in the funding.
It comes as a report published shows that consumers are losing out on over €78m worth of savings due to decision delays in planning appeals.
The findings are based on An Bord Pleanala deciding on third-party appeals of planning applications by ALDI between 2018 and 2022.
