Students say they are not allowed to wear their coats in the classroom despite open windows.

Parents are raising concerns about their children's welfare at a midlands school due to Covid protocols.

Windows are being left open at the Sacred Heart School in Tullamore for ventilation purposes, and students say they are not allowed to wear their coats in the classroom.

One parent says her daughter has missed over 20 days of sixth year so far due to cold and flu symptoms.

The school has yet to respond to a request for comment.
