It seems like the peak of electricity cost inflation is behind us.
That's according to President of Tullamore and District Chamber of Commerce, Anthony Hanniffy, who says he hopes Electric Ireland's decision to cut prices will start a competition between providers.
The country's largest electricity supplier will be reducing costs by up to 15% for small and medium sized businesses.
But Mr. Hanniffy says he doesn't understand why Electric Ireland isn't looking at domestic prices:
