Pensioners Take To The Streets In Call For Greater Supports

They have two points of concern in particular.

Pensioners are calling for a Commissioner for Older People and arbitration after retirement.

They're taking to the streets of Dublin this afternoon, protesting being treated like "has-beens".

The National Federation of Pensioners' Associations is organising the demonstration outside Dáil Éireann to call for greater supports for older people - including a representation in labour court.
