Clara's Carthage Buckley is hosting a sports memorabilia auction in aid of Dochas Offaly Cancer Support Group.
A retired Offaly GAA referee will hold a charity sports memorabilia auction today.
Clara resident Carthage Buckley, is hosting the event in aid of Dóchas Offaly Cancer Support Group at Gallen Community School, Ferbane.
The collection, comprising of programmes and articles covering GAA, soccer, rugby, golf and more, accumulated over six decades, will be available for viewing from 3pm.
The viewing will be overseen by former All-Ireland hurling referee and Midlands 103 analyst Brian Gavin, with proceeds going to Dóchas in memory of Carthage's late son John who died from cancer in 2019.
