There is something for everyone, of all ages.
Athlone will be filled with activity this bank holiday weekend as the River Festival kicks off.
A variety of performances, workshops and art will be taking place across Saturday and Sunday.
There will be a particular focus on safety, with water safety demonstrations and a defibrillator group.
There will still be plenty of room for fun, with this year's event taking on a Viking Theme.
