"Some Hope" Catholic Church Members Will Start Practicing Faith Again

A midlands priest says the most stressful aspect of his job is working with people who don't regularly practice their faith.

There's "some" hope members of the Catholic Church will start practicing their faith again.

That's the claim from Clara Parish Priest, Father Joe Deegan, who says one of the most stressful aspects of being in the priesthood is working with people who don't regular practice their faith.

It's expected there'll be an increase in the number of lay-led ceremonies in the future, due to a declining number of priests.
