They will run for a period of two weeks.
There will be Traffic and Parking surveys carried out in a midlands town for the next two weeks.
Westmeath County Council have appointed IDASO Ltd to carry out the surveys at various locations, in and around Mullingar, starting from Monday 8 May.
Automatic Traffic Counters and cameras will be installed at various locations to record pedestrian and vehicle traffic count data, while being fully GDPR compliant.
The results of traffic data collected during these surveys will be used to supplying statistical data and to inform the Mullingar Area Based Transport Assessment (ABTA) currently being developed.
For any further information or queries, regarding the traffic surveys or equipment installed, please refer to IDASO Ltd website.
