Paddy Harney was working at a concrete manufacturing plant in the Bealnamulla area of Athlone, when an fatal accident happened at around 2pm on Wednesday.
The Athlone man will repose at his home on Sunday evening from 3pm until 6pm and will be laid to rest on Monday in Saint Peter and Paul's Church at 11am, followed by burial in Drum cemetery.
