The isolated spots have become havens for illegal dumping.
The amount of rubbish dumped beside a river in a rural area would have taken two lorries to clear.
That's according to Billy Gallagher, a resident of Dysart close to the River Suck, where this is happening.
He says it's been a problem for at least 15 years, and has gotten particularly bad recently with what he dubbed "after Christmas dumping".
