Nighttime water restrictions now in effect across Laois and Westmeath.
Uisce Eireann is renewing its appeal to customers in the Midlands to conserve water during this latest spell of hot weather.
Nighttime water restrictions are in place for customers served by the Rosenallis Water Treatment Plant in Laois and the Slaney Water Treatment Plant in Westmeath.
The restrictions are being introduced to help protect daytime water supplies during a period of high demand.
Customers are being advised to report any leaks and taking showers over baths where possible.
