Infections of the bug are on the rise
Visiting restrictions are in place in a midlands hospital due to rising levels of Norovirus.
Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore has put measures in place to help prevent the spread.
Norovirus, or the winter vomiting bug, is known to be particularly badly affect young children and the elderly.
The first 10 weeks of 2023 have seen almost 400 cases, up from 109 for the same period last year.
Restrictions in Tullamore are in place until tomorrow.
