The garage closed down last Friday, due to rising costs.
A Westmeath business is set to reopen today, under new ownership.
Moate Motors previously announced it would be closing for the final time last Friday, due to the rising costs of parts and general expenses.
It also expressed difficulty hiring staff to keep up with demand.
However, the garage is due to reopen today, under the ownership of John Gahan, who also operates John Gahan Motors on the Shannonbridge Road in Ballinasloe.
In a post on Facebook, previous owner, Cathal Geoghegan, is wishing Mr. Gahan every success with the business.
