The Mullingar man, who's living in Egypt, says you need to do a lot of training to allow your body to adjust to the depths.
He aims to competes at nationals competition ahead of next year including next months AIDA Bassam Arabian Freediving Depth Championship in Egypt.
He's reached a depth of over 70 metres while training for the competition.
