The Local Election Candidate believes money could be used to fund a new library.

A number of towns and villages in Westmeath aren't being considered for funding.

That's the claim from Local Election Candidate in Mullingar Kinnegad, David Jones, who says the money could be used to develop libraries and other amenities.

He wants areas like Delvin, Clonmellon, Collinstown and Raharney to be represented.
